We love going to the hibachi grill! We’ve made many memories with our daughter while eating at one. I will never forget how she would always snuggle up to me when they would make a big fire. With over 17 years in the fire service, our daughter always felt safe in my arms.
However, she didn’t always get to enjoy what she saw being cooked. She loved the atmosphere, trying to use chopsticks, and the show that always happened. But eating the food drenched in soy would always end in a rough night for us. It took starting a food journal to identify what would cause her problems. We also had to learn more about food intolerances and allergies.
So what did I do? I made my own fried rice using coconut aminos. While I don’t have a hibachi grill at the house… and can’t make the onion volcano, our daughter can enjoy the food! And we hope you enjoy this recipe, too!
