By slicing the potatoes thinly, you can achieve a crispness to teach bite that you don’t get with a regular baked potato. Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 tbsp bacon fat melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450ΒΊ F.
  • Wash potatoes and slice thinly (β…› slices) but not completely through. You could use chopsticks placed on both sides of the potatoes to prevent from cutting all the way through.
  • Brush the potatoes with the bacon fat. You could also use regular or vegan butter, duck fat, or olive oil. Place in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove and brush remaining bacon fat on the potatoes. Bake another 20 minutes. Remove from oven and dress however you would like (herbs, flavored butter, bacon, sour cream… the options are limitless!)!
