Hey friends! Long time no see. That’s definitely on us. When we started this site, it was COVID. Tom was working from home, the world was on hiatus, and we had lots of time.
Since then, the world reopened, and we have not one but TWO more children!! Both boys. Life is pretty chaotic with children ages 8, 2, and 12 weeks. In the words of Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
You might be wondering about all the allergies. Well, there’s news there, too. Our oldest child has outgrown her allergies to soy and dairy. She’s doing much better with corn, as well. But, plot twist: our 2-year-old son threw us some new ones and is allergic to eggs and chickpeas 🤦♀️. See. Chaos.
What does that mean for you? Honestly, not much. Our recipes will remain gluten-free. Only now, they will also be egg-free. Additionally, we still limit corn and soy due to pesticide exposure, effects on the body, and that sort of thing. Moving forward, you can expect to see gluten, corn, soy, egg, and mostly dairy-free recipes. I can’t guarantee, however, that a recipe containing cheese or butter won’t make an occasional appearance. But I promise to also include substitutes for those!
